At the recent BCRA Board of Directors meeting, Bob Roza and Orv Johnson presented the following proposal to the Board for their consideration and approval. Bob, representing the Midget Division is volunteering to act as a clearing house for Midget parts in Oakdale and Orv, in Sacramento is willing to do the same with Midget Lite parts. Their mutual goal is to collect any usable parts such as tires, wheels, shocks, springs, gear sets, sprockets and anything else that are usable for the purpose of offering these items at little or no cost with the purpose of getting more cars to the track. Say a car owner would like to race, but is not able to buy a wheel or tire, we ask them to call Orv or Bob and we'll try to find the part (tire, wheel, shock, or spring, etc.) in order for them to race. So, let's work together to get cars to the track, and increase car counts. So car owners, if you have extra parts lying around, and you doubt that you'll ever use them again, please call Orv or Bob, so we can start an inventory of available parts to help others get to the track. On a similar note, if you see a new car at the track, take the time to introduce yourself and welcome new members and offer assistance to get these folks off to a good start with BCRA. And thanks to the BCRA Board for their approval, and everyone for the anticipated cooperation.
